Aroview: In its time this animated TV series was a ubiquitous pop phenomena, being simultaneously unleashed on the world with a line of model toys and dolls.

Title character He-Man is a super-hero who must battle to save the universe, and in particular the planet Eternia, from the evil forces of Skeletor. Featuring an array of slightly nutty side characters, this is actually pretty enjoyable compared to the many subsequent rip-offs.

This 2-disc compilation features "the best" episodes from Series 1 & 2.
