Aroview: With a premise that's a cut above the usual sci-fi series imagination, this has a team of researchers at the Morpheus Institute use special 'sleep-beds' to enter the nocturnal dreams of troubled patients in an effort to understand and heal.

Only briefly airing, before being rashly pulled by NBC, this built a small following who appreciated the blend of brooding seriousness and TWILIGHT ZONE-style twists and turns.
