Seducing Doctor Lewis
Aroview: Amiable and crafty, this Québécois comedy has a small fishing village trying to gently persuade a visiting young doctor to take up permanent residence in their town in order to attract a much-needed factory.
In order to do this, the villagers conspire to tap his phone and then innocently 'share' to his perceived likings for cricket, fusion jazz and open-toed footwear. Although not without the stock characters beloved of many a smalltown comedy, this casts its tale with such skill and ease that your affections will be easily hooked.
