A Lot Like Love
Aroview: Cutely delivered riff on WHEN HARRY MET SALLY, this pairs Kutcher with Peet for a long-stalling love affair over the years as both gradually filter out other romantic options and a few gritty incompatibilities.
Each also navigates a wobbly line of personal aspiration, Peet dumping rock-chick stylings for a career in photography, while Kutcher struggles on in "sales", though essentially the story concerns fate's conspiracy against their mutual attraction. Fluffy as hell and lacking the poetry of a BEFORE SUNSET, this still has an easy-going charm and the pleasant tale is timeless enough.
