Aroview: Punchy and old-fashioned animation concerning a group of animal residents of Central Park zoo in New York who have an adventure in the 'real' jungle of a tropical paradise.

Applying various big city character types to the animal kingdom, this cutely crafts a gang comprising an unfulfilled lion (Stiller), neurotic giraffe (Schwimmer), wise-arse zebra (Rock), and streetsmart Hippo (Pinkett), who end up shipwrecked on an island rife with hedonism and sectarian infighting. Eventually the 'city animals' find their own brutal carnivorous instincts rising to the surface, even casting a hungry eye over their nearest and dearest... With dialogue providing most of the comedy, the visuals remains colourfully unfussy and effective. A good solid entertainment all round.
