Alex (voiced by Stiller) finds his long lost family, introducing big daddy (Bernie Mac) and a deliciously smarmy Alec Baldwin as an evil nemesis. There are hilarious subplots for the rest of the lovable gang while a bunch of lost New York tourists (led by a feisty Jewish granny) adds a “Survivor” satire. The pop culture references, OTT dance extravaganzas and increasing wackiness of the support players, lemur king (Sacha Baron Cohen) and the POW style penguins, add up to a sequel that's actually better than the original.
