One Tree Hill (TV Series)
Aroview: Smallscreen teenage melodrama set in the small town of Tree Hill, North Carolina, and around the simmering relationship between two half-brothers (Murray and Lafferty) with nothing in common but a shared love for basketball.
Like THE OC, this manages, through sympathetic writing and acting, to rise above the usual petty dramas of the genre to score on bigger issues, such as teenage in-fighting, drugs and parental dysfunction. Season 1 - 22 episodes over 6 discs.
