Take, The
Aroview: A feisty documentary about the aftermath of Argentina's disastrous economic 'crash' in 2001 and how a group of unemployed workers attempt to occupy and run a garment manufacturing plant themselves, against the wishes of the owners.
Co-directed by Naomi Klein, the author of 'No Logo', this is both an inspiring, humane fable of 'people power' and a provocative portrait of the failings of globalisation. If at times, one wishes for the perspective of a dissenting opinion, the bracingly idealistic message is a compelling rallying cry all its own.
