Workingman's Death
Aroview: Astonishing depiction of six of the most gruelling jobs known to man that soberingly conveys the extremes that certain members of the global population have to face day-to-day in order to survive.
Beautiful imagery and a wonderful score by John Zorn belie the brutal struggles being depicted, and though it may sound like depressing viewing (seeing Indonesian workers haul sulfur across an active volcano is a notable image), a simple humanity is powerfully wrung from every frame.
