Aroview: A six-segment portmanteau comedy which traces the history of prostitution from its Stone Age version (being the 'oldest profession') through to contemporary swinging 60s and out into the future.

An all-star cast makes the generally uneven viewing easier on the eyes, although each section can't help but reflect to some extent on the connection between love and money. The final sci-fi sequence "Anticipation", dir. by Jean-Luc Godard, is by far the best, with a cluster of ideas and images reminiscent of ALPHAVILLE.
