Elizabethtown
Aroview: A fatefully 'personal film' from dir. Cameron Crowe, who is plainly given too much rope to tell this semi-autobiographical story.
Orlando Bloom stars as a former hot-shot shoe designer who returns to his (titular) home town to bury his estranged father and find himself, but instead finds a kooky soulmate (Dunst). Navel gazes for much of its running time, with the narrative seemingly contrived to fit the overbearing i-tunes left over from the director's far more successful ALMOST FAMOUS.
