Dead Leaves

Aroview: Jittery and brutal anime from the makers of KAI DOH MARU, in which a pair of young amnesiac miscreants (Pandy and Retro) half-destroy a city and are sent to a nasty prison facility on the moon called 'Dead Leaves'.

Here, we learn a little more about their backgrounds as experimental humanoids and get served up more dollops of toxically crude violence (with deviant overtones), somehow reminiscent of Takashi Miike. Impressively styled with an eclectic soundtrack and exploding with movement and detail, this is a must for fans of extreme anime.
