Just Like Heaven
Aroview: A lonely architect (Ruffalo) falls for the the attractive spirit (Witherspoon) of the former tenant of his apartment who is trapped in some kind of weird limbo between life and death, having lost knowledge of her own identity.
Quirky romcom coasts on some of the intrinsic potentialities of the premise, while never really leaping into any novel territory - in fact, dir. Waters (MEAN GIRLS) mostly succumbs to a predictable, quasi-sentimental tone and resolution, made bearable by the undoubted chemistry of the two leads and a quirky support turn by Heder (NAPOLEON DYNAMITE). Soulful, but a trifle anonymous.

2 stars (Good Try) Plot premise seems a bit familiar. The two leads have been in and deserve much better. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) The two leads work well together, transforming what could have been a steaming pile into something that's at times quite moving. And nobody does shlubby scruff-hunk like Ruffalo... ~HiFi
