Aroview: More politically-inclined satire from the creator of THE FAMILY GUY (Seth MacFarlane), set around a CIA operative with a very strange family including a German-speaking goldfish and a alien.
Particularly poking fun at American Neo-conservatism, this finds the 'American Dad' dealing with 'sitcom' issues, interferring in elections, meddling in foreign disputes and generally messing things up. While not quite as convincingly bizarre as its predecessor, this makes its own archly ironic points.
Disc 1.1: "American Dad" (Pilot), "Threat Levels", "Stan Knows Best", "Francine’s Flashback"
Disc 1.2: "Rodger Codger", "Homeland Security", "Deacon Stan, Jesus Man", "Bullocks to Stan"
Disc 1.3: "A Smith in the Hand", "All About Steve", "Con Heir", "Stan of Arabia, Part One", "Stan of Arabia, Part Two"
Season Two across three discs.

3 stars (Good Enough) With a more 'American' theme than Family Guy, Seth MacFarlane brings us another dysfunctional family of stereotypical individuals who battle through unlikely scenarios, providing hilarity throughout. Fans of Family Guy's humour will lap this up. ~Tom H
