Fun With Dick and Jane

Aroview: A manic remake of the 1977 Ted Kotcheff comedy, in which a pair of successful WASPs (here, Carrey and Leoni), experience sudden destitution and try various ways to sustain their lavish lifestyle on no income.

After a series of robberies and other criminal hi-jinks, their growing skills lead them to try and topple the corrupt CEO (Baldwin) who is the ultimate cause of their cashflow crisis. Although timely in a post-ENRON way, this rather toothless satire may well prove largely redundant except for the broad Carrey-esque comedy.
