Aroview: The classic Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale, about a young girl who sets out to find a friend bewitched and abducted by an evil enchantress, here receives respectful, if truncated, BBC treatment. Mixing CGI animation and live action, this is perhaps more distinguished by its outstanding musical score and painterly visual approach.
