Aroview: Set in an post-apocalyptic future where all adults have been wiped out by a virus and children must fend for themselves by ganging up together, this Wellington-made TV series belies its low-budget and occasional cheesy touches with an addictive soap opera quality.

While on the surface the kids take the opportunity to garner all manner of haircuts, make-up and apparal, the series actually settles into some reasonably truthful conflicts and dilemmas of how to survive in a dangerous world without the guidance and protection of grown-ups.
