Flash, The (TV Series)

Aroview: Vastly underrated TV adaptation of the DC comicbook hero, in which a forensic detective (Shipp) has a laboratory accident which causes the molecules of his body to vibrate at high speed - giving him ultra-quick reflexes and the ability to move through solid objects.

The Flash must contend with the usual bevy of villains and crims (Trickster, Deadly Nightshade, Captain Cold) who plague the art-deco modernist Central City, which is rendered with undue care for visual style. Unfortunately, as is often the way with inventive television, the series was cancelled after only one season.
