Dust Factory, The

Aroview: An interesting and moderately spooky family drama, in which a traumatised teen (Kelly) - who can't bring himself to speak after witnessing his father's death - suffers a bike accident and enters a strange netherworld between this world and the next.

Here he befriends a happy-go-lucky girl (Panettiere) and also his twinkly-eyed grandpa (Mueller-Stahl), and trains for a tightrope walk at the mysterious 'Dust Factory'. Conveyed in soft dusky imagery, this curious fantasy of the afterlife is well worth a look for the not-too-impressionable.
