Ebola Syndrome, The

Aroview: Birthed from the notorious "Category 3" underbelly of Hong Kong cinema, this close relative of THE UNTOLD STORY features another deranged murderer on the run from authorities who's contracted the Ebola Virus after serving one too many victims on a plate.

Truly stomach-churning scenes of human dissection are offset by some typically disturbing humour; meanwhile, the film's degenerative flavour leaves no stone unturned, with rape, cannibalism, and wanton violence high on the menu. Anthony Wong, who also played the murderous restaurateur in THE UNTOLD STORY, clearly has the psychopath role down pat.
