Snakes on a Plane

USA 2006, 105 minutes
Dir. David R Ellis
Genres: Action/Adventure / Animal Amok

Topics: Aviation.

Aroview: Shamelessly egregious B-movie actioner with Samuel L. Jackson playing an FBI agent escorting a federal murder witness (Phillips) on a transcontinental flight, which unluckily the 'baddies' have also loaded with several crateloads of venomous and hungry snakes.

Soon after takeoff, the snakes - excited with artifical pheromones - escape into the plane biting through electrical wires, killing the captain and slithering their way into the passenger cabins. With the snakes running ridiculously rampant and seemingly no escape for the humans, this gleefully strides into silliness on occasion, but has enough sick, skin-crawling humour to slide past the trash-detectors.
