Aroview: The latest adaptation of Charles Dickens' classic sees prominent Polish dir. Polanski helm an artful, if not straightforward interpretation of the oprhan boy's struggles. Apart from an inspired turn by Ben Kinglsey as Fagin, this is mostly innocuous stuff, best considered as a cosmetic update.
