Masters of Horror Vol. 2

Aroview: The brainchild of dir. Mick Garris (THE STAND), this anthology produced by the Showtime cable network commissions some of the genre's greatest exponents to direct a 60-minute horror film, and has garnered a cult following in and out of the US, where the likes of John Carpenter, Dario Argento and Takashi Miike (whose episode was subsequently banned from the airwaves) have contributed memorably to the series.

INCIDENT ON AND OFF A MOUNTAIN ROAD: Don Coscarelli's (BUBBA HO-TEP) heightened visual sense energises this grisly slasher piece about an abducted young woman and the deformed serial killer on her trail.

CHOCOLATE: Series creator Mick Garris (THE STAND) grinds out the murderous visions of a disturbed man whose sanity is hijacked by the senses of another woman, developing into a bizarre yet strangely moving tale of love.
