Five Fingers

Aroview: Hostage drama with a few surprises up its sleeve has Dutch pianist (Phillippe) on a charity trip to Morocco who gets abducted by Moroccan terrorists who believe he is planning a rather different kind of operation.

Much of the action takes place in a deserted warehouse with the grilling being conducted by a sinister Laurence Fishburne whose the methods quickly turn to torture, with Phillipe's five right-hand fingers being on the chopping block. The main leads both give excellent performances in raising the chamber-drama feel to a high-pitched intensity.
