As it is in Heaven
Aroview: A feelgood arthouse hit about a renowned classical music conductor who rediscovers his roots in the far north of Sweden.
Acquiring a rundown school-house, he soon finds himself reluctantly involved with a rag-tag village choir. Set in the Yuletide season, this indeed plays like the filmic equivalent of a Christmas Carol - broadly appealing through its simplicity, familiarity, and shameless sentimentalism. That said, Scrooge-hearts are advised to steer well clear.

4 stars (Very Good) Aroview review is accurate! ~Anon
4 stars (Very Good) I enjoyed the scenery, music and the twist in the story line of this Swedish film. Well worth watching. ~Fred
1 star (Turkey) Saccharine sweet, predictable, and sentimental. Yawn your way through it. (I must be a Scrooge-heart.) ~Birdwing
0 star (Not rated) Never mind "scrooge-hearts". For "shameless sentimentalism" read soppy, corny, predictable, Mr (Clooney) handsome hero soapie! ~rakau
2 stars (Good Try) It is good to look at but the screenplay is very commercial (the ending is cringing) and at times over melodramatic. ~Tubbs
