An American Haunting
Aroview: A stylishly cinematic ghost train, supposedly based on a real-life Tennessee family haunted by strange forces in the early 1800s.
Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek provide the class, as worried parents to a teenage daughter who keeps getting levitated and thrown around the room without good reason. While attacked in some quarters for one too many dream sequences, and favouring spectacle over the psychological promise of its source material, this is not without some effective shocks, including a final twist you may not be ready for.
