Unit, The (TV Series)
Aroview: The brainchild of David Mamet, this riveting black-ops suspenser serialises the daring assignments of a covert special forces team who, under the guise of military desk jobs, perform clandestine counter-terrorist maneuvers that they can never speak or be acknowledged for.
Distinctive for considering character over action, Mamet's other bold move is to contrast the homeland drama of 'The Unit's' wives domestically, with their secretive and politically pertinent operations abroad.
Season One: 13 episodes across four discs.

2 stars (Good Try) Apart from Patrick, and the ever–watchable Haysbert, this is like The A Team meets The Real Housewives of Delta Force. Slightly disappointing, given the creators' pedigrees. 'Sere' is a strong episode, though. ~HiFi
