5 stars (Exceptional) One of the greatest comedy-dramas ever made, Forrest Gump tells the story of an unlikely Vietnam war hero, pop-culture icon, and philosopher through Hanks, a naive and below-average-IQ small-town American with a very big heart. ~Tom H
