Holiday, The
Aroview: Reliable entertainment from 'chick flick' maestress, Nancy Meyer (WHAT WOMEN WANT, SOMETHING’S GOTTA GIVE) in which two disenchanted women (Diaz and Winslet) swap their transatlantic lives in the hope a change of scene will spur newfound romance.
The leads are full of charm, refusing to give clichéd performances; Diaz a struggling movie-trailer editor and Winslet a writer, whilst Law is the epitome of dashing, and Black is typically wacky. Well enough done within its narrow genre, but at 138 minutes, it may well test the patience of the man in your life!

2 stars (Good Try) An entirely clichéd story with weak performances that will leave you hard-pressed to sit all the way through. This chick flick is strictly for the girls. ~Tom H
1 star (Turkey) The only redeeming feature about this boring-thon is Kate Winslet - she earns the *.Jude Law is wasted. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) Pleasant enough TV romance ~Anon
