Who Killed the Electric Car?
Aroview: The promise of electric-powered transport and its subsequent demise is playfully detailed as a faux ‘murder mystery’ in this engaging investigation of the technology’s hindered potential in an oil-hungry, corporate dictated world.
While politically motivated, the film delivers its argument with a lightness of touch, and is both efficient and comprehensive in actually trying to answer the direct question it poses. And though it might lack a rigorous 'cross-examination' by the defense, the sobering verdict that is reached is hard to deny.
