Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny

Aroview: Comic chums Jack Black and Kyle Gass parade their mock-rock star alter-egos in a feature length adventure and prove there to be a number of great riffs that hadn't quite been exhausted from "Spinal Tap's" original songbook.

The plot is all power chords, stage slides and, yes, dick jokes, as the hapless pair discover that rock stardom lies in acquiring rock's holy grail - the 'pick of destiny'. Aided by a stream of spot-on musical parodies and hilarious cameos from Meatloaf, Ben Stiller, and Dave Grohl, Jack Black turns his head-banging persona up to 11, co-writes a "kick-ass" script and gets a result that truly rocks!
