Aroview: A spicy and saddled western vehicle for bosom buddies Hayek and Cruz, with the spunky duo turning to bank robbery in an effort to combat a marauding land baron in turn-of-the-century Mexico.

Using their stolen money to feed the mouths of peasants dispossessed, this rides familiar territory in the way of executing bank heist, stick-ups and other outlaw Western tropes with relative appeal and ease – despite the overall package lacking in both imagination and zest. The perky cast, however, are clearly having fun, with Steve Zahn at his affable best, while the film’s two feisty chiquititas are nothing if not easy on the eye.
