Aroview: Plundering another beloved storybook fable, this CGI fairytale remixes the Cinderella fairytale by omitting the crucial role of the wizard, giving the evil stepmother (voiced with suitable menace by Sigourney Weaver) the advantage in ‘Ella’s quest for true love. A digestible, if unimaginative reinterpretation lacking the satirical edge of SHREK.
