Aroview: The fifth movie of the Harry Potter franchise finds the Wiz-kid struggling with adolescent hormones, a blind bureaucracy and most memorably, the horrid Dolores Umbridge (Imelda Staunton).
Fans of the franchise will find that the often rambling fifth book has been dramatically condensed in this film, and things move faster than a Quidditch game (Quidditch was a rather controversial omission from the film). Directed without flashiness by first-timer David Yates, earmarked to direct the sixth movie as well, preferring to focus on pace rather than texture, this film also features a classic climax as Harry moves closer towards finally taking on Voldemort.

4 stars (Very Good) Returning to Hogwarts for his fifth year, Harry discovers that much of the wizarding community has been denied the truth about his recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort. A showdown awaits. Excellent fast-paced action. ~GenXGirl
3 stars (Good Enough) There is a dream adult casting and they make it worthwhile even for nonfans of the franchise. ~Tubbs
