Hills Have Eyes 2, The
Aroview: Predictably grisly, largely pointless sequel to Alexandre Aja’s remake of Wes Craven’s cult survivalist film, which pits a group of National Guard cadets against radioactive mutants in the unforgiving desert.
Helmed by a former music video director, and scripted with shocking over-familiarity (by Craven’s son), this promises little else but gratuitous blood, guts, and slaughter – though even its treatment of gore is devoid of style and imagination.
