Hills Have Eyes, The
Aroview: Wes Craven takes the townies-breakdown-in-the-desert chestnut to its logical extreme, where it turns out the hills also have club feet, malformed craniums, and a unhealthy appetite for baby flesh! T he most fun you'll have in a film that boasts the teaser line the lucky one died first! The terminally curious might also find time for the Craven-directed sequel, also available.

3 stars (Good Enough) Wes Craven brings a unique tale of horribly deformed once-humans who now seek out human flesh. Not quite as intense or brilliant as the original Chainsaw massacre, but still great horror viewing. ~Tom H
4 stars (Very Good) Classy in a grainy kind of way. The baddies steal the show - Egghead, Broccolihead and Sausage Nose. ~Tubbs
