Waitress
Aroview: Keri Russell plays a small-town diner waitress and pie expert, stuck with (and knocked up by) the wrong man - her scary redneck husband Earl. When a charming new obstetrician comes to town, and a bake-off presents the chance for escape, things begin to look a little different.
Ms. Russell and Nathan Fillion have real chemistry and even the cameos are good (Andy Griffith included!). This is quality comedy of its kind - engaging, entertaining, heart-filling and a little bittersweet.
Heart-breakingly, writer/director/actor Adrienne Shelley was tragically killed before the premiere of the film at Sundance Film Festival 2007.
