White Planet, The
Aroview: Stunning, big-screen nature treatise turns its attention to the inhospitable glaciers of the Artic, where polar bears and other unique fauna have carved out a remarkable existence.
Spectacular as a vision of wildlife resilience in unforgiving conditions, this is especially moving as a point of difference on the vulnerability of the planet and its creatures in ecologically instable times. Nevertheless, carries more admiration than pity for Mother Nature’s predicament, with Al Gore’s AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH a very distant relative at best.
