Aroview: This good, old-fashioned horror adapts a latter-day Steven King story of the same name.

True to genre, it's about a sceptical, King-like, writer (Cusack) who makes an ill-advised visit to Room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel, site of 56 mysterious deaths in only 95 years, whereupon the supernatural mayhem begins - and escalates improbably.

Will he ever leave? Regardless, fans of King and classic horror should check this out.
