At face value we’ve seen it all before – a bunch of strangers holed up in a remote motel on a stormy night without communication and a psycho-killer in or out of their midst. But as the coincidences start to mount, the clichés are not necessarily as they seem, though its twist into fresher territory is best swallowed with unconditional love of the genre and a healthy sense of humour.

3 stars (Good Enough) A film that will keep you guessing and then purposefully pull the rug from under your feet as you think you've found them. Enjoyable enough, but repeat viewings will not be required. ~Tom H
