Greatest Game Ever Played, The

Aroview: Inspiring Disney drama based on the true story of an ambitious amateur golfer determined to defeat his idols at the 1913 US Open. Shia LaBeouf (TRANSFORMERS) takes on the lead role with maturity and gusto and is aptly supported by a fine cast of relative unknowns that add a touch of realism to the story. A nicely played out underdog tale with a fine depiction of the pomp and ceremony that surrounded the game of golf in the early part of the 20th century.
