Rogue Assassin

Aroview: Mildly entertaining actioner pits Statham as an FBI detective hell-bent on revenge after Li kills his partner; titular character Li, meanwhile, is too busy masterminding gang warfare between rival Yakuzas and Triads to pay much attention to Statham's raison d'etre.

Somewhat played-out, staid action scenes rely too heavily on guns for visceral impact, squandering the intense physical prowess of both leads (since when did martial arts movies become so saturated with firepower?). Nevertheless, this boasts enough twists and revelations to merit a look.
