Jumper
Aroview: Pea-brained, wildly disjointed sci-fi chase flick from the director of THE BOURNE IDENTITY centres on a 'jumper' (Christensen) whose extraordinary ability to spontaneously teleport across the globe makes him a target of a deadly secret organisation led by Sam Jackson.
While Jamie Bell's credible turn as a veteran 'jumper' offers brief respite, it comes in the midst of embarrassingly amateurish camera techniques (even by low-budget standards) and a script that feels as if it were put together by a pair of back-slapping hacks with delusions of grandeur. Recommended to those in dire need of mindblowingly mindless entertainment and budding directors who want to know how films should not be made.

2 stars (Good Try) A fun sci-fi premise, if a little too quirky, that has plenty of excuse for the globe-trotting action, this remains a poorly scripted and hollow affair that may (or may not) provide you some entertainment. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) A good plot idea and the screenplay starts off okay but it then jumps into a bit of a hole and gets lost. ~Tubbs
