Klondike Annie
Aroview: Star-centric comedy based on the play by Mae West with the steamy starlet taking the lead role as a club entertainer dabbling in romantic liaisons with her boss who escapes her torrid existence by taking on a different persona and discovering love on the run.
The script typically provides a platform for Miss West to strut her stuff on with the assured talent of director Raoul Walsh (WHITE HEAT) doing all that he can to rein her in. Brilliant one-liners, sassy dance sequences and ample cleveage abound in this take it or leave it Hollywood showcase.
