Aroview: Conceptually intriguing Danish sci-fi drama concerns a gifted concert pianist whose lack of intimacy leads to amnesia, forcing him to enter 'The Zone' in order to retrieve his memories and restore emotional vibrancy to his virtuosic skills.

Elevating ideas over character development, this Freudian time-traveller (if memory serves correctly) appears to lift the bulk of its ideas wholesale from STALKER ('The Zone') and ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND. Appealing on a visually associative level, though, especially when reminding one of the warping, wavering nature of memory. Perhaps best seen without prior knowledge of the films it 'references'.
