Unfinished Sky

Aroview: Cross-cultural Australian romantic drama, in which a widowed farmer discovers a distressed Afghani refugee on his property, who he lets into his home and heart.

Loose remake of Dutch film 'A Polish Heart' (which also featured lead actress Monic Hendrickx) achieves nice romantic resonance through well-cast leads, with touches of slow-burn suspense lending a disquieting atmosphere to proceedings, though the ending is unmistakably melodrama with a capital M.
