Locusts - Day of Destruction

Aroview: Cheese-dipped thriller set in the good ol' US of A, where a swarm of pissed off bio-engineered locusts run riot across the countryside devouring anything that gets in their way.

Warrior princess Lucy Lawless is well suited to the role of head scientist investigating the plague, but she may well be the only light in a film where you find yourself rooting more for the bugs than the pee-headed humans they're about to polish off.
