Slipstream
Aroview: Anthony Hopkins cartwheels into the director's chair and attempts to channel David Lynch for this befuddling ensemble fantasy in which a screenwriter (played by Hopkins) becomes bothered by his fictional creations, who begin to pop up in his real life.
An aesthetically unconventional mish-mash of seemingly improvised ideas some would call a shameless vanity project, this might well re-surface one day as an unjustly overlooked piece of cinematic art, but for now it's safe to assume Hopkins is either taking the piss or has an avant-garde axe to grind. One for the oddity admirers.

2 stars (Good Try) I found this more watchable when I stopped trying to follow the plot - if nothing else at least John Turturro enjoyed himself. ~Tubbs
1 star (Turkey) I haven't watched it in recent years, but this still goes down in my memory as the worst movie I've ever watched. Somehow made mind-fuckery boring. ~Anon
