Running Deep

Aroview: Affecting drama involving a scattered family unit who upon hearing of the death of their mother decide to meet up with unpredictably tragic results.

A little over-ambitious with dramatic plotting, the film never settles on one particular issue and instead covers them all: addiction, homophobia, terminal illness, murder. Convolution notwithstanding, we're left with an interesting - and occasionally acute - portrayal of destructive relationships between male family members.
