Hanging Garden, The

Aroview: Family secrets come to light in odd and interesting ways in this small-scale drama set on a wedding-day in sunny, seaside Canada. Engaging one with a hurtful variety of 'clan-humour' we follow Chris Leavins home after a long absence to the nuptials of his sister, Kerry Fox, getting hitched to one his ex-lovers (!). As the round of disquieting catch-ups continues, memories of a bewildering childhood begin to literally appear before him in stylised vignettes, bringing forth the darker side of the family history.
